Yesterday morning, the weather was perfect for a 6K (3.7 mile) power walk.
I started the first leg by walking out to our cross country ski trails and then walking one of them.
The snow was nicely packed, so my Yaktrax Run Cleats gripped perfectly to allow me to achieve my preferred pace.
I walked this trail in the summertime and found it to be a little spooky with the trees all leafed out. In winter, with the bare trees, it was much less ominous, as it was easier to see what was around each curve.
