Whenever I’m out on the hiking/walking trails, I’m on the lookout for interesting things to photograph along the way.

Shortly after Christmas, I was surprised by this little ornament hung on a pine tree branch. As far as I’ve noticed, she’s the only one.

Today, it seemed that she had been moved to a different branch from the last time I was on that trail. When I arrived back home, I checked back in my photos and confirmed that thought. I then wondered how many times she had been moved since I last walked this trail.

For a split second, I considered moving her, but after rethinking it (I’m well known for over-thinking things), I decided to leave her be, just in case it was the same hiker changing her spot on the tree as some sort of marker.
