At daytime high temperatures of -18°C (-1°F) with wind chills that make it feel much colder, my morning power walks will be on hold for the next couple of days.
I’ll still get out for a couple of short strolls later in the day, just to get my daily dose of fresh air, but I don’t fancy the idea of my nostrils freezing shut if I walk for any length of time at a faster pace.
These frozen maple seeds looked cold enough last week.
“Winter’s more than words and wind. She’s a chill that clings to everything. She’s power. And, like all great powers, she likes her companionship recognized. If she’s talking to you, you’ll know.”
~ Shannon Dittemore
Negative one for the high – ooo, that’s cold! I’d be inside ALL day. I have a stationary bike which I use on days when I don’t walk. I don’t enjoy it near as much, but it’s something. Stay safe, and enjoy your day!

Thanks for stopping by and for your comment, Betty. It can get much colder than that in our winters. Because it’s been unusually mild the past few weeks, we’ve gotten a bit soft, lol. It’s supposed to warm up again in a couple of days, so that’ll be most welcome. You have a great day too!
