On Monday, I had to travel to the city for a specialist appointment.
Due to Covid19, we don’t travel outside of our own small city unless absolutely necessary.
As we were returning home, I was taken with the beautiful winter sunset.
“A large drop of sun lingered on the horizon and then dripped over and was gone, and the sky was brilliant over the spot where it had gone, and a torn cloud, like a bloody rag, hung over the spot of its going. And dusk crept over the sky from the eastern horizon, and darkness crept over the land from the east.”
~ John Steinbeck
More than once during the past year, I have seen a beautiful sunrise or sunset and thought it to be divine encouragement.
