Yesterday was a beautiful, crisp autumn day, so I hooked up my iPhone macro lens and headed out for a walk, looking for things to practice on.
Just outside of our home, I found this guy. He was no bigger than 1/4 the size of my small fingernail, so he didn’t stand a chance in the spider’s web.
“A spider’s web is stronger than it looks. Although it is made of thin, delicate strands, the web is not easily broken. However, a web gets torn every day by the insects that kick around in it, and a spider must rebuild it when it gets full of holes.” ~ E.B. White
