I’ve been absent from posting for a couple of weeks.

We’ve been enjoying our RV summer vacation- most often with not enough cell service to post to my blog.

I’m happy to say that I’ve found wonderful hiking/walking trails at every stop and the limited cell service has actually been a blessing to give me some down time and to fully appreciate the places we’re seeing and experiencing.

The Nodding Thistle is a noxious weed on the Prairies – and at the same time, a beautiful giant pink puffball against the prairie sky.

We’ll be home in a few days after 6 weeks of exploring our “back yard”, at which time, I’ll resume regular posts to review and hi-light this part of our “socially distanced” summer vacation
