I’m an avid walker who enjoys both power walking and what I call “photo walking”.

My annual 5 K Earth Day walk is always a deliberate photo walk.  Whenever I’m walking the many great trails around our small city, I  pay attention to the offerings of mother nature along the way, and especially so on Earth Day.

I never take my big camera on the photo walks, as I’m walking briskly in between photo ops that I see along the way. My iPhone is my best friend on these walks, and although I don’t have the zoom capability that I have with my DSLR, I’m able to capture moments and memories.

Happy Earth Day to all!
