Windows and doors fascinate me.
Maybe it’s because of the curiosity about what’s on the other side.
Retirement is like that. There’s a whole new “other side” to experience – a different world and a life of unknowns until we pass through the door/window that takes us on our new journey.
At first, when we’re nearing the last days of our working life, the door appears to be locked … but with time, it opens …bit by bit, until it’s open wide and we can pass through …

“There are so many doors to open. I am impatient to begin.”
